How to Volunteer
Charitable Treasures Workshop board of directors is committed to utilize valuable funding dollars for direct service to our apprentices. Therefore, we use valuable volunteers to support our workshop activities. Volunteer opportunities include:
Craftsmen Volunteers: These volunteers bring their special talents as craftsmen to the Workshop by instructing the apprentices in their particular area of expertise...jewelry making, woodworking, furniture refinishing, art and many other creative venues.
Workshop Support Volunteers: These volunteers provide much needed supervision of the apprentices under the direction of the Workshop Coordinator or skilled craftsmen.
Special Event Volunteers: These volunteers support the Workshops fund raising events by volunteering in a variety of positions including: planning committees and event execution positions.
For more information on volunteering please call 719.686.7775. All volunteers must complete an application, interview with the Selection Committee and pass a criminal background check prior to being accepted to work directly with Workshop apprentices.
